Puri is one of the four all-India Char Dhams. The Jagannath Temple houses Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra together — unique iconography where the deities are made of neem wood and periodically replaced via the Nabakalebara ritual. The annual Rath Yatra is the single largest chariot festival in the world.
